HGTA returned for a second year with a mission to preserve Malaysian heritage textile traditions. The event drew submissions from across the country, honouring artisans who push the boundaries of heritage textiles. The competition spanned six categories, each encompassing two awards: Best Traditional and Best Innovative. For each category, the winners were rewarded with cash prizes of RM25,000 each. Those interested in checking out the winning submissions may visit the exclusive exhibition that is being held in the pink zone of the third floor of Pavilion Bukit Jalil from now until 31 August 2024.
